Statement | April 22, 2025

As Vice President of Kirtland Central High School’s Business Professionals of America, I’m proud to recognize Earth Day as a time to reflect on our connection to the environment and the role we play in safeguarding its future. This day reminds us that caring for the planet isn’t just an individual effort—it’s a team effort that calls for leadership, creativity, and determination.
In BPA, we embrace teamwork and innovation, both of which are key in tackling environmental challenges. By working together, we can lead initiatives that reduce waste, promote sustainability, and inspire others in our community to take action. Every small step we take—whether it’s conserving energy, cleaning up local parks, or advocating for greener practices—can make a big difference.
I challenge each one of us to think about how we can be leaders in environmental stewardship, both within our school and beyond. Let’s use the skills and values we gain from BPA to set an example and push for meaningful change. Together, we can turn Earth Day into a commitment that lasts all year long.
