Kirtland Central High School’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter is proud to announce that Tayla Nez has been officially confirmed by the BPA officers and membership to serve as the KCHS BPA Reporter for the 2025-2026 school year. Her appointment was unanimously approved, reflecting strong confidence in her leadership potential and dedication to the organization.
Following her confirmation, Tayla was ceremonially sworn into her new role, joined by her cousin and the former KCHS BPA Secretary, Rodzaiah Curtis, in a heartfelt moment that connected BPA’s legacy and future.
In her candidacy statement, Tayla said, “Good evening, everyone. My name is Tayla Nez, and this will be my second year in BPA. I am considering the position of Reporter. I understand that the duties of the Reporter include preparing and submitting school news to media, compiling chapter activity news, promoting BPA’s welfare, and more. My photography skills and dedication make me confident that I can grow in this role.”
Tayla further emphasized her qualifications, stating, “I’m confident that my background makes me an ideal candidate for this position, as I have learned many valuable qualities from other organizations and activities I have participated in, such as FCCLA and band. These experiences have allowed me to express myself clearly, learn, and explore my interests further. Furthermore, I hope to be a helpful officer and contribute to the success of this organization.”
The KCHS BPA chapter is thrilled to welcome Tayla Nez to the officer team and looks forward to the positive impact she will bring during her tenure as Reporter. Her commitment to BPA’s mission and values promises an exciting and successful year ahead for the chapter.
