Phillip Horsley is a distinguished student leader at Kirtland Central High School, serving as the 37th President of Business Professionals of America (BPA). His extensive journey within BPA demonstrates his dedication and impact. Phillip has previously held positions as the 37th Vice President and Parliamentarian, where he displayed exceptional leadership and organizational skills. He assumed the presidency in February 2025, following the resignation of President Kayla Badoni, and has since guided the chapter with innovation and vision.

As Vice President of FCCLA, Phillip has also showcased his ability to lead effectively and inspire those around him. His involvement in multiple career and technical student organizations highlights his commitment to empowering students and fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.

As Vice President of BPA, Phillip played a vital role in preserving BPA's rich history at KCHS, which dates back to 1989. He has been a passionate advocate for the organization's mission to prepare students for global professional success. Under his leadership, the chapter has flourished, earning recognition for fostering leadership, citizenship, academic excellence, and technological skills.

Phillip's leadership journey is marked by remarkable achievements, including well-structured committees, engaging activities, and initiatives that emphasize team building and personal growth. In addition to his BPA and FCCLA accomplishments, Phillip is involved in SkillsUSA, showcasing his commitment to career and technical student organizations. Currently a junior, he has ambitious goals for his future, aspiring to own a computer shop and pursue a career as a therapist.

Phillip’s ultimate goal as president is to elevate KCHS BPA, inspire others, and build a lasting legacy of leadership and innovation. His unwavering commitment to progress and excellence makes him an exceptional leader at KCHS.
