Kirtland, NM — As the 2025 National Leadership Conference (NLC) came to a close on May 11, 2025, the Kirtland Central High School chapter of Business Professionals of America (BPA) is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of its members.
Phillip Horsley, Chapter President, earned a national certification in Entrepreneurship and Small Business, while Madison Medley achieved certification in Professional Communication—a testament to their preparation, leadership, and commitment to excellence in business education.
Additionally, Former Secretary Patiya Curtis was awarded the Ambassador Torch Award, the highest honor available in BPA’s Torch Awards Program. This distinction recognizes her exceptional dedication in seven pillars of leadership: Citizenship, Leadership, Love/Hope/Faith, Cooperation, Knowledge, Service, and Friendship.
The chapter also extends its deepest appreciation to advisor Ms. Lynn Foster for her unwavering guidance, support, and tireless effort in mentoring the students through a successful year of competition, growth, and leadership development.
KCHS BPA continues to shine as a beacon of excellence, preparing today’s students to become tomorrow’s leaders.
