Phillip Horsley

Phillip Horsley is a student leader who is serving as the 37th President of the Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter at Kirtland Central High School (KCHS) from New Mexico. He assumed the acting-presidency in February 2025 following the resignation of Kayla Badoni and was officially elected on April 14, 2025, to serve one full term in accordance with BPA chapter bylaws. He served as the 37th vice president from November 2025 to April 2025, and Parliamentarian from May 2024 to November 2024.

Business Professionals of America

Horsley assumed the BPA chapter presidency in February 2025, succeeding Kayla Badoni. At the time of the transition, he was serving as vice president and became acting president before being officially elected on April 14, 2025, to serve a full term, as outlined in chapter bylaws. Prior to this, he held leadership positions including Vice President and Parliamentarian within the chapter.

In May 2025, he earned national certification in Entrepreneurship and Small Business at the BPA National Leadership Conference (NLC). He also represented the KCHS chapter in Computer Network Technology at the 2024 New Mexico state BPA competition and participated in E-SPORTS at the national level.

Other Activities

Beyond BPA, Horsley is equally active in other student organizations. He currently serves as Vice President of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and participates in SkillsUSA, demonstrating his commitment to leadership and professional development across multiple disciplines.

Athletics and Future Goals

In addition to his organizational leadership, Horsley plays football for Kirtland Central High School and has a recruiting profile on the Next College Student Athlete (NCSA) platform.

He is a senior with future aspirations to own a computer shop and pursue a career as a therapist, reflecting a unique blend of entrepreneurial ambition and interest in supporting mental health and community well-being.
