KCHS BPA Chapter Officers Remove Ely Lee from Reporter Position

During a regular officer meeting, the Kirtland Central High School Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter motioned to the removal of Ely Lee from his position as Reporter. This motion follows a vote by the chapter officers, resulting in 6 votes in favor of removal and 3 against.

Lee's removal comes after he failed to attend three executive meetings without providing any excuse or explanation. Ely Lee was suspended from the school due to behavior that is not acceptable to the organization. leading to the position being declared vacant.

A special election will be held on January 15, 2024, to fill the Reporter role. This election will coincide with the chapter's award and swearing-in ceremony, making it a significant event for the organization.

President Justin Harrison stated, "We thank Ely for his previous contributions. The upcoming special election will ensure that we have a dedicated individual in the Reporter position to help us achieve our goals."

The KCHS BPA chapter encourages all eligible members to consider running for the Reporter position and participate in the special election.
