Kirtland Central High School Vice President Phillip Horsley Wins Prestigious Diplomatic Award from Business Professionals of America

Farmington, NM, December 11, 2024 – Kirtland Central High School BPA, proudly announces that Vice President Phillip Horsley has been awarded the Diplomatic Award from Business Professionals of America (BPA). Phillip is the first student from Kirtland Central High School to receive this distinguished honor.

Phillip earned 30 points at the regional level, including 10 points each for his exemplary leadership in organizing and leading meetings, spearheading a food drive, and his active participation in church activities. His dedication and hard work have set a new standard for excellence within our school community.

The Diplomatic Award is a significant milestone in Phillip’s BPA journey. To achieve this award, students must demonstrate outstanding leadership, community service, and professional development. Phillip’s achievement not only highlights his personal commitment but also serves as an inspiration to his peers.

Looking ahead, Phillip aims to earn the Statesman Award, which requires 50 points, and the Ambassador Award, which requires 70 points at the national level. He is determined to continue his efforts and hopes to achieve these prestigious awards in the coming months.
